The Birth of a Ministry
The conception of Living Water Ministries for All Nations started well before God spoke to Matt and Sarah with regards to starting a ministry. It actually began back in the summer of 2017 where they found themselves searching for something more, but unable to put into words what that “more” was. It was about that time that they were invited to participate in Awaken the Dawn- a coming together of Christians from all over the Nation to Washington D.C. to call a Nation back to God with 24 hour worship and prayer for 4 days straight. While they were there, God began to open their minds to other facets of Himself and His Body of believers. Following that event, they dove deeper into the Word and Jesus began to show them deceptions that they had been taught through years of religious indoctrination. They knew there was more, but still could not put a word or an idea to what that “more” was.
Everything was culminating to a snowy day in December where a divine appointment with a friend would change everything. Sarah made plans to meet with her friend, Sara for lunch and began to share with her all the things that Jesus was teaching them and how she was experiencing the Holy Spirit in new ways. By the end of the conversation, Sara showed Sarah in the Word the truth about the baptism in the Holy Spirit and laid hands on her, baptizing her in the Spirit and finally revealing what they had been searching for! Through Father’s goodness, He led them to someone who would know what they were looking for and impart that precious gift to them. Life has never been the same since that day.
Shortly after that, Matt had his own experience with the baptism in the Holy Spirit. They started walking in the supernatural, hearing God’s voice, and receiving revelation after revelation of the Word. One of the biggest revelations they received was that Papa God loved them more than they ever imagined and that their identity was in His love and how He sees them, not in anything else. Almost a year later, Matt woke up in the middle of the night when the Holy Spirit fell on him. He began to speak in tongues over Sarah; a first for him, as he felt God’s amazing power coursing through him. When Matt finished speaking in tongues over Sarah, the Lord spoke through him and said “Living Water Ministries”! The next morning, the Lord spoke a verse to Sarah: Isaiah 55:5-6 “‘You also will command nations you do not know, and peoples unknown to you will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy one of Israel, have made you glorious’ Seek the Lord while you can find Him. Call on Him while He is near.” From that day on they have purposed in their hearts to give every person in every nation the opportunity to experience the ministry of the Holy Spirit, who John said in His Gospel, is the Living Water!
God has sent them on a mission to share fresh Bread from heaven to the religious, the outcasts, the unwanted and rejected because this is the Father’s heart. Just as they were granted Living Water in the desert, God has sent them back to do the same for the least of these. As Isaiah 55:1 says, “Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters!”
