The Great Prostitute: The False Church

We have officially entered into the Decade of “Pey” according to the Jewish New Year, and “Pey” is the Hebrew word for “Mouth”. In honor of this amazing season we’re walking in, I’ve decided it is time to  release some words the Lord has spoken to me in our quiet time together, to use my mouth to proclaim what so desperately needs to be released. And as the gospel writer so graciously reminds us, “What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.”

– Matthew 10:27. So here we go.

Let’s start by reading out of a passage of scripture in Hosea:
“Rejoice not, O Israel! Exult not like the peoples; for you have played the whore, forsaking your God. You
have loved a prostitute’s wages on all threshing floors. Threshing floor and wine vat shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail them. They shall not remain in the land of the Lord, but Ephraim shall return to Egypt, and they shall eat unclean food in Assyria.” Hosea 9:1-3.

God is likening Israel to a prostitute, who accepts wages on the threshing floor. She’s cheating on God
with all sorts of evil; foreign gods, man, money, etc. She’s forgotten her first love, her Husband who
bought and redeemed her from Egypt and slavery. God is so grieved by this that he tells Israel he’s
returning them back to their place of bondage, Egypt. I was intrigued by the statement the Lord made
regarding Israel loving a prostitute’s wages “on all threshing floors”.

Matthew 3:12 tells us, “His (Jesus) winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor and
gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.”

So let’s talk about this. I felt the Lord saying to me, “Just as Israel turned her back on me for other
lovers, so has my Bride. The Church has not been faithful to me. She has forsaken me for religion,
traditions of man. She has elevated man-made teachings above My teachings. She has idolized her
pastors and sought after the approval of man and not of God. Where there should be only wheat and
bountiful harvest, there is mixture with chaff. She has given herself over to teachings of demons and
sold herself to the enemy. For this, she will be taken back to Egypt, the place of her bondage.” Egypt is
not only an ancient city that enslaved the Hebrews 4000 years ago, Egypt is a place that God’s people,
the church, are enslaved to now. There are many “Pharaohs” in the little Egypt’s that hold God’s people
hostage to religion. Many Christians are busy building a man’s ministry, a man’s city, a man’s name and are completely unaware of their bondage. These “Pharoah’s” use God’s people to build their kingdoms,
not His Kingdom. This might sound harsh, but the Lord was very clear. His people require freedom from
chains they can’t even see. I was completely delivered from religion and it was a rude awakening for me.
I realized I had idolized my pastor and believed every word that came from his mouth. I wanted his
approval and sought man’s validation on my life. Of course I loved the Lord, but I was completely blind
to the fact that I had many other “lovers” at the table. The Lord said, “Repent. Repent of your
unfaithfulness and I will heal you. I will show you whose approval you will live for, I will show you all
truth through my Holy Spirit. You don’t have to come to church on Sunday for crumbs, I will feed you
Fresh Bread right from my hands.” Hear me, I’m not saying we shouldn’t gather together as the
corporate church, or that fresh bread can’t be given in that setting. But in the mainstream church that most attend on Sundays, we get little bits of crumbs of the Word. We are in desperate need of the Holy
Spirit to have His way in our gatherings so he can administer the Bread of Heaven. Moving on…
There is so much to discuss in this passage alone. But I want to take us to another verse. There is
another passage of scripture that talks about a prostitute.

“Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the judgement of the great prostitute who is seated on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality, and with the wine of whose sexual immorality the dwellers on earth have become drunk.” Revelation 17:1-2.

“Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, lest you take
part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues…’” Revelation 18:4.

So here we have this prostitute who is deceiving all these people to drink from her cup of sexual
immorality. What’s interesting is that God himself from heaven tells HIS people to come out of her. If he
has to say come out of her that means that some of us are drinking from this cup. No? Some of us are
with this prostitute. Some of us are being unfaithful to our Jesus. And the Lord is very clear; we must
come out of her lest we take part in her judgement. Remember that picture of Christ standing at the
threshing floor with his winnowing fork in his hand? Judgement starts in the house of God. Who is this
prostitute? The false church. The church that is teaching another gospel, a boiled down gospel that
teaches a third of the beautiful benefits the Lord died to give His Bride (Gal 1:6-9). The church that is
declaring grace all the while remaining the same as the world without a stitch of supernatural
transformation (Romans 12:2). The church that is teaching doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). The
church that appears to be godly but denies the power of God (2 Tim 3:5). The church that denies the
ministry of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:5-9). We all need to “examine ourselves to see whether we are in
the faith.” 2 Corinthians 13:5. I felt the Lord say strongly, “Pray to me and ask me if there is any
unfaithfulness found in you. Pray and ask me to uncover if there is any part of you that is in bed with thisharlot. Any who are found with her, will receive her judgement.” I encourage you to keep reading
Revelation 18, you do not want to be found in any part with this harlot. As I was praying into this and
asking the Lord how to release this word to the church, he revealed to me something I believe is a
Kingdom principle. If something is happening spiritually in a church body, it will manifest itself in the natural. In other words, if we are being unfaithful to our Jesus and partaking in “sexual immorality” with
the enemy, it will eventually manifest in the natural. We will be unfaithful to our spouses, friends,
children, and brothers and sisters in Christ. Spiritual adultery always leads to natural adultery. So I will
put it to you like this; seek God. Seek him with all of your mind and heart and body. Seek him continually
every day. Pray to Him and ask him where you are being unfaithful to Him. He longs to set us free from
spiritual bondage and restore us back to perfect communion with the Father. We are living in the last
days. We are living the book of Revelation. Many will be deceived and many will be found with her. I beg
you, don’t allow that to happen to you or your family! On the next blog we will be going through more
verses from Hosea 9. I believe this is an important word that needs to be released through several
teachings. I am praying that the Holy Spirit will fall on each of you as you surrender everything to Him!

He is so worthy! God bless you!

You’re worth it!

So many levels of discernment and truth. This teaching of conviction forces a re-examination of motive based actions. More than comparing legalism and Grace – this it is totally about “Love, Deception, and Choice”..

Jesus please help us to purely Love the brethren🕊💕🙏.
